Senegalese artisan of filigree and granulation, Mamadou perpetuates his ancestral art.
In 2016, we met Mamadou, a Senegalese jeweller with whom, following an order from a client, I worked for several days to create an ornament using filigree and granulation, traditional African techniques.
This first exchange gave way to our collaboration North~South, where we create pieces in limited numbers in our workshop using ancient Senegalese techniques.
